A little about me
Yup, that's me over there. Look at my handsome mug. Who I am and what I love can be boiled down to a simple word, food. It is my one passion and comfort in life. It led me to my first degree and job, working as a Chef. I worked for 2 years before realizing that although making food was fun, it isn't nearly as fun as eating it. So after the 2 years, I quit. I didn't know what I wanted to do but I knew it wasn't being a chef. Feeling a little lost, I went to do a Bachelors of Art degree, majoring in Philosophy and Anthropology. Not exactly the smoothest of transitions but I made it to the end with much difficulties. Upon graduation, uneployment loomed over me. It was difficult finding any suitable job. However luckily it did eventually lead me to my dream job. I got a summer job as a tour guide on Waiheke Island. I loved that job. Talking to customers, introducing them to delicious food and wine, hearing about their trip. The best part was always seeing their happy faces after they've enjoyed themselves. Knowing that I am apart of their memory and knowing that I was responsible for that feeling, really made me so proud. There really is nothing else in this world that can bring me as much fulfilment. I am now no longer lost. I know this is what I want to do. This is what fills me with pride and joy.
So... let me be your tour guide and let's go eat something yummy.
